Programs

Our programs are engaging and enriching not just for the children but for the whole family.
Toddler Classroom

The toddler classroom is made up of children ages 1 to 3 with two teachers. In the toddler classroom, the routine is the curriculum. Children learn through each part of their day – from meal times to diapering to free play. The classroom is comprised of toys and equipment to challenge their bodies and minds. There are climbing structures, puzzles, baby dolls, blocks and more! Teachers also put together developmentally appropriate activities and meeting times that consist of music, games, art projects, counting activities, cooking and so much more. Toddlers spend a huge chunk of their day outside as well, no matter the weather! The most important aspect of development for toddlers is their social/emotional development – teachers work with children on talking to each other appropriately and effectively, encouraging self-help skills and expressing their needs and wants.

Preschool Class

We have children ages 3 to 5 in our preschool classroom along with two teachers. The preschool classroom has a set schedule each day which is consistent and predictable. The classroom environment is made up of different play areas such as: dramatic play, block area, reading area, math/manipulatives, science, writing, and puzzles. Play is the work of the child where so many skills are learned – especially social/emotional skills! There is a meeting time in which stories are read, there is music and even fun games. Children are also invited to do different activities such as: sensory activities, cooking, art, writing etc. Curriculums are always displayed within the classroom and are emergent and based on observations made of the children’s play. We spend a huge chunk of our days outside as well, no matter the weather!
